Agung Putra University ("APU", "we", "us") operates apu.ac.id. This policy explains how personal data is handled when you browse the site, contact us, or submit an application.
Who is responsible

Why we use personal data

Legal grounds
Depending on the context, processing is based on your consent, steps requested before entering an agreement, performance of an agreement, compliance with legal obligations, and APU's legitimate interests in operating secure and effective educational services. You may withdraw consent at any time for future processing, without affecting prior lawful processing.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising technologies
Necessary technologies support security, sessions, language, and saved privacy choices. The site currently uses Meta Pixel and may use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or Google advertising services when configured. These providers may receive device, browser, page, referral, interaction, and network information and may process it under their own privacy terms, including outside Indonesia.
Where a Privacy choices interface is displayed, it controls optional Google services loaded by Jy Metrics. Global Privacy Control is honored for advertising in that interface. Technologies added separately, external links, and embedded third-party content may have separate controls. You can also restrict cookies through your browser.
Sharing and international transfers
We may share data with authorized APU personnel, hosting and technology providers, email and storage providers, analytics or advertising providers, and academic or program partners when necessary for the stated purposes. We may also disclose data when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and system integrity. Some providers process data in other countries; we use appropriate contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards where required.
Retention
We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purpose collected, applicable academic or administrative retention schedules, dispute handling, security, and legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including access controls and protected storage. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Subject to applicable law, including Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law, you may request information about processing and ask for access, correction, completion, deletion, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or a copy of your personal data. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where the law permits or requires it.
Children and third-party services
