APU Prepares Students for the Industrial World Through Public Lecture with BNI Central Java Executive

SEMARANG – Agung Putra University (APU) continues its commitment to preparing students with the knowledge and skills they need to enter the workforce. Most recently, APU invited Mesah Roni Ginting, Regional CEO of BNI Region 5 (Central Java), to deliver a public lecture on preparing students to face challenges in the industrial world. The lecture was held at the APU Auditorium in Gunungpati, Semarang, on Monday (September 7).

In his presentation, Mesah emphasized the importance of adapting to rapid technological developments, including the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI). According to him, today's market demands speed and continuous product innovation.

"Students must be adaptive to technological developments such as AI. The industrial world and the market require speed. Therefore, students should develop innovations and products that can make people's lives easier. APU serves as a bridge for students to enter the workforce, especially with Prof. Agung's strong commitment to developing future leaders," Mesah said.

Furthermore, Mesah explained that every product or innovation developed by students should have clear business and commercial value.

"Every product created should not only satisfy users but also provide business value. It should have a clear market segment, undergo quality testing, and be properly accountable," he emphasized.

The public lecture was held in an interactive atmosphere. Students actively asked questions about banking system security, access to initial capital for new graduates, and the needs of the banking industry across various study programs.

Responding to the event, President of APU Foundation Prof. Dr. dr. Agung Putra, M.Si.Med., welcomed the insights shared by the BNI Region 5 executive. He said that industry knowledge is essential to preparing APU graduates for the workforce.

"This public lecture is very important because it helps students understand the real dynamics of the industrial world. We hope that the knowledge they gain will not only be understood in theory but also applied in practice. The strong relationship between APU and BNI also creates valuable opportunities for students to apply their knowledge through internship programs at BNI," Prof. Agung said.
