The signing of the MoU with INTI International University Malaysia marks one of the first steps in APU’s international expansion. The university is also preparing to establish partnerships with several other leading universities in Southeast Asia.

These planned partnerships include MILA University and Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in Malaysia, as well as Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology in Vietnam.

The expansion of these partnerships is expected to create more opportunities for cross-border collaboration in education, research, and academic development.

Building Academic Collaborations

In addition to expanding its network in Southeast Asia, APU has already established international cooperation with Albstadt-Sigmaringen University in Germany. This collaboration includes a five-month internship program at the APU campus for students enrolled in the German university’s Bioanalytics study program.

The program is an example of cross-border academic cooperation that allows students to gain practical experience in an international education and research environment.

The existing partnership with a university in Germany, together with the expansion of cooperation in Malaysia and Vietnam, further strengthens APU’s efforts to build a globally oriented academic environment.

Through international partnerships, research collaboration, and academic exchange, Agung Putra University continues to work toward providing a world-class education experience for its entire academic community.
